As the winter storm rolls in, I'm inspired to make something a little chilly! Of course what comes to mind but a snowman! My nieces and nephew also built a snowman from the little amount of snow we had this week and had to show me yesterday, so I think that also made me want to create a snowman, too! I tried to stick to their version as much as possible, following the colored buttons, red heart, carrot nose, and black top hat. I added a scarf to mine because let's face it, all snowmen look pretty cute with a colorful piece of cloth keeping them toasty.

I've always been partial to the saying "cold hands, warm heart" because I've always been one to have cold hands! As Krystal D'Costa stated in her blog:
" It's a curious saying: "Cold hands, warm heart." It proposes that people whose hands are usually cold actually have kind and loving personalities. There is no counterpart as far as I can tell. That is, people with warm hands aren't reputed to have cold hearts. They're just regular folk whose body temperatures hover at the norm of 98.6 degrees F."
I thought it was fitting to include with my chilly snowman. I also made just the saying if you just want the words.
