I've been wanting to start my own online design business for awhile now and I've finally taken the plunge and jumped right in! I am beyond excited to bring my designs to creative people all over the world!
I dabble mostly in svg files and designing crafts. I love handmade things that show creativity and personality! I just got a Cricut Explore Air 2 from my wonderful husband and amazing sister for Christmas and let me tell you, it's really helped me kick-start this whole process!
For my first craft of the year, I made a "remember when" jar for 2019. During the year, my husband and I will write down all the wonderful things that happen throughout the year. Then, on New Year's Eve (2019) we will open the jar and go back through all the fantastic memories we made during the year.
For the Cricut portion, I actually used a free "label" through Cricut and then added some text on top of it. All of my text was written with a 0.8 gold tip pen. I used a normal, cream colored piece of paper for the top layer, and a teal foil adhesive vinyl piece for the bottom layer.
I then added that to a plain, glass jar (found at my favorite store, Pat Catans). I also added a fabric ribbon around the top and then two teal flowers to the bottom right of the label.
It now is sitting in our kitchen, ready for joyful memories!
Here is my design for the label, feel free to use! (Click the picture below for the link)
